In celebration of BC Access Festival, we are delighted to offer two special tours to welcome the disabled community to the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Wednesday, June 1 @ 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Saturday, June 4 @ 3:30pm – 5:00pm

This special Access tour offers an opportunity to explore works from the Gallery’s permanent collection, featured in the exhibition Kids Take Over and Restless: Recent Acquisitions.

On these tours, participants will discover the tactile and sensorial aspects of artworks by Guud San Glans Robert Davidson’s monumental painting Octopus (2014) and Gathie Falk’s playful ceramic fruit stacks, to Chantal Gibson’s radical modifications of historical books and Annie Pootoogook’s touching family portrait Listening to the Radio (2005-06), as well as works by Evelyn Roth, Kimsooja, Paul Wong and more.

These tours are designed to welcome disabled community members. If you identify as disabled, please register to join us on these tours.

Please note capacity is limited for the tours and registration is required.

Tours are FREE. Each guest and their companion or attendant will receive complimentary admission – you do not need to register your companion / attendant but please indicate in the registration form who will be attending with you in the appropriate field
