DESCRIPTION:Connections hour is all about connections! Join fellow self advocates to share resources and explore many different ways to connect including connecting to friends\, family & community\, places\, culture and spirituality\, and purpose & potential. How do you find connection in your community? Let’s share and grow our connections together! \n\nWhat Will You Do? \nEach experience will be different but will include exploration of a variety of ways to connect. For example\, we might look at what it is like to go to a art festival and what to expect at that type of event. It could also look like fun activities to foster connection to culture such as music or art trivia. Sometimes we may have guest speakers who share about an organization\, opportunity or their own life experience. \n  \nCLICK TO JOIN THE EXPERIENCE\n  \n\nYour Host\, BC Self Advocate Leadership Network\nWe are Tami\, Chelsea and Michael\, three self advocates apart of the BC Self Advocate Leadership Network. The BC Self Advocate Leadership Network is an organization that supports folks with diverse abilities to stand up for themselves and others. Together the three of us host Connections Hour a regular meet up where we explore different ways to find connection and bring people together across BC. We share resources and life experiences and encourage each other to be out in community.
