

SESSION INFO: Please join Chelsea Jelic on April 7, 2022 at 10 am for Supporting Social-Emotional Learning for Autistic Students in the Home, School and Community
This workshop will help participants develop a better understanding of social-emotional learning using an evidence-based framework that is used in many educational settings. Participants will learn how to foster child and youth social-emotional development in areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills.

Chelsea Jelic is part of the Family-School Liaison team at POPARD. She is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist and has a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis (Autism). Her areas of interest include social communication, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and inclusive education. She is inspired by helping autistic children and youth achieve their full potential by being meaningfully included in their school community.
