Learning Explorations ~ Naming is Taming- A family centered approach to Living with the Uncertainty of Serious Illness

January 31, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am PST

SESSION INFO: Being a Parent or Caregiver to a child living with medical complexity is to weather the ups and downs of uncertainty, to witness your child live through a cascade of losses, and likely to be imprinted with the effects of traumatic stress. Activating resilience in the midst of providing day-to-day care can often feel elusive. Explore a few key concepts from a trauma-informed and attachment-based practice that might support how you think about caring for your child.
