Learning ASL in college changed everything—it led to a career as a Teacher of the Deaf and a passionate advocate for early language access\, inclusion\, and prevention of language deprivation. Listening fatigue is more than a topic to her—it’s personal. \nWanda Blackett\nGrowing up Hard of Hearing\, Wanda knows firsthand the struggle of listening fatigue and the isolation of dinner table syndrome. It wasn’t until college that she found belonging through ASL and the Deaf community. In this webinar\, Wanda will share her identity\, communication\, and connection journey.
