DESCRIPTION:Eco Adventures Day Camp offers a fun outdoor pursuit each day of the week! \nParticipants ages 8 to 14 will explore different locations and activities throughout their community in our small-group social skill building process. Each day\, two staff meet the group of 6 to 8 participants at the location for that day’s adventure. They plan out the activity together\, embark\, break for snacks\, continue/return to the pick up site. This would be a great time to learn about the Il Centro garden project\, and ways to be part of this beautiful community gardening space in the future. Come dig in the dirt with us! \nWhat to Bring: Bring your curiosity\, and any gardening tools you may have! Available seating only in the form of fallen Willow trunks so if folks need proper chairs it would be great if they could bring their own for now. \nThe garden is behind the basketball court at the farthest parking lot which is gravel. The entrance to this lot has a lot of bumpy pot holes The area is grassy and lightly sloped. There is no paved areas in the garden. \nBeing mindful of honeybees – we have hives in a fenced in area right in the gardens.
