DESCRIPTION:Join us for an Interactive Family Workshop with Olivia Hoffsuemmer (Occupational Therapist) \nThis workshop will explore Sensory Processing.  \nBring your child with you to play & learn together in an interactive session which will give you some ideas on how your child may benefit from exploring their senses & how to  continue to develop these ideas together at home. \nChildren use their senses during all their first experiences to help them make sense of the world. Olivia will support you to understand how your senses help you do this. You will learn about the benefits of multisensory play; such as using sensory bins. You will discover how these can stimulate our senses\, promote emotional regulation\, and develop fine motor skills. Olivia will then show you how to create your own personalised sensory bin with your little ones\, so that you can incorporate all you have learnt to see\, touch\, smell\, and hear the benefits of sensory play for yourself. \nThis workshop is ideally suited to a parent & child aged 3-6.\nTo get the most from this workshop\, we recommend that parents & children actively work & play together. \nPlease register to confirm your attendance \nThere are limited tickets available. DESCRIPTION:Meaningful Connections FREE\nWe are hosting an Interactive Family Workshop with Behavior Consultant Michelle de Beer. \nThis is a FREE workshop to discover how to help your Child Build Deeper\, more Genuine Connections in just 1 activity each day- 7 Days\, 7 Ways\nBring your child with you to play & learn together in an interactive session which will give you a range of ideas on how you can help your child with connection; building connections together and helping your child build connections with others.\nThe idea of ‘connection’ or ‘social skills’ can be overwhelming. Michelle\, an experienced behaviour consultant\, will introduce her Autism Connection Strategy™ which intentionally simplifies this process by giving you 7 activities that you can do using a variety of activities specific to your child. During our workshop we will then explore a couple of activities from this strategy\, including shared activities and perspective exploration with your child. \nWorkshop participants will have the option to purchase The Autism Connection Toolkit for $30 (regular price $97) at the end of the session for video training on the strategy\, a calendar cheat sheet and ideas for you to utilize at home. \nThis workshop is ideally suited to a parent & child aged 3-6 working & playing together.  \n  \nPlease note there is no childcare for this event\, please make alternative arrangements if you can not bring your child with you.  \n  \n To get the most from the workshop\, we recommend that parents & children actively work & play together. \nPlease contact us\, visit our website for more information & to register.  \n
