1. Program Description & Types of Messages By opting into text messaging from Family Support BC, you agree to receive text messages from us. These messages may include customer service follow-ups, support updates, informational alerts, and responses to your direct inquiries. Messages are sent to the mobile number you provided at the time of opt-in.
2. Texting Cadence & Message Frequency You can expect to receive messages relative to your requests and interactions with us. Message frequency varies based on user engagement, the nature of your support requests, or the specific program you have joined.
3. Message and Data Rates Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Family Support BC does not charge a fee for our text messaging program, but your wireless carrier’s standard messaging and data rates still apply according to your mobile service plan. 4. How to Opt-Out & Discontinue Messages You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to cancel. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you a one-time SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time or reply START, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
