DESCRIPTION:Have you ever seen a drone show in the night sky? Join us to watch the Dragon Boat Festival drone show overtop False Creek near Science World. We will meet at the Tim Horton’s next to the Skytrain Station and head over together to the viewing area. The show is scheduled to start after sunset around 9:30pm. \nWe’ll watch the drone show by Science World. If you’d like to come early\, there is a full program of events happening as part of the Dragon Boat Festival. \n  \nBOOK YOUR EXPERIENCE

SUMMARY:Science World: Sensory Friendly Mornings
DESCRIPTION:Sensory Friendly Mornings are inclusive events for individuals and families with neurodiverse or accessibility needs. Guests can explore our exhibits and galleries in a comfortable\, welcoming and less crowded environment. Wherever possible\, exhibits will have adjusted operations and lowered volume levels from 8–10am. Volume levels and exhibit operations will return to their usual settings at 10am\, when we open to the public. Guests are welcome to stay and explore Science World as long as they wish. \nFrom 8–10am\, Sensory Friendly guests can enjoy these amenities:\n\nAccess to galleries and exhibits before we open to the public at 10am\nLight and sound modifications\nDesignated sensory break room\nCentre Stage show with reduced noise\nAdditional signage\n\nResources for your visit:\n\nSensory map for regular operations\nActivity Storybook\nNoise cancelling earmuffs (available for loan on a first-come\, first-served basis)\n\nTickets:\n\nTickets are limited and we encourage all guests to purchase tickets or register in advance\n$12 plus tax per person\nRegistration is free for Science World Members\nPlease note: an adult attendant/caregiver who is supervising a visitor with disabilities will receive a complimentary daytime general admission (1:1 ratio) upon arrival and does not need to purchase a ticket or register in advance\n\n  \nBOOK TICKETS HERE\n  \nUpcoming Sensory Friendly Mornings:\n• Saturday\, October 29\, 2022\n• Saturday\, January 28\, 2023\n• Saturday\, April 29\, 2023\nSensory Friendly Mornings would not be possible without the generous support of:\nAmes Family Foundation
