In collaboration with NEW WAVE Online Exhibit featuring Disabled Artists Under 30, we are excited to present a small series of creative workshops presented by some of the participating artists!
All sessions are FREE and open to ALL!

Abstract art at first glance can look easy, but then your first attempt looks like the aftermath of a toddler’s lunch. How do abstract artists do it? What is the difference between abstract art, and a plain mess? How do we guide the eye, evoke emotion, and generate curiosity with imagery that barely tells of a line?
In Midori’s workshop, participants will learn things like the rule of three, balancing soft and hard lines, guiding the eye, and creative spatter, and how to apply these to abstract art.
