Join a Radical Care Space, in person! Come by to make something with clay and share stories with others. Hosted at Alternatives Gallery (1659 Venables St) by community-based artist, Aaniya Asrani.
You are invited to join a co-creation space that is designed to contemplate notions of care. The process involves unwrapping a ‘care package’ of clay to make something for someone you care about, care for, or even an object that embodies care to you, as we share stories with one another and watch the space evolve with every new person that enters it.
The space is wheelchair accessible. There might be some smells, loud noises and groups of people having conversation. You will be touching and working with clay, which can get a bit messy.
We will slow down and be present with one another in this space created for dialogue, exchange and reflection – at Alternatives Gallery (1659 Venables St)
