Do you want to learn from people with experience fighting for their rights in an ableist society? Do you want to learn from leaders in the People First movement in BC?
How does diversity affect us in different ways? How do some things intersect? Join us for a presentation about gender, identity, culture, and intersectionality. And then hear from our panel of self-advocacy experts! Who will be sharing lessons learned about diversity from their advocacy journeys and personal experiences.
We’ll have a short presentation about gender identity and also hear from our panel members about diversity intersectionality – leaving some time for group discussion at the end.
Presenters include Nicole Babor, Margaux Wosk, Charlene Barney, Chelsea Rinquinha, Manjeet Ghangass, and Noah Wang

Did you have a great experience with FSI? Please let us know!
As a provincial organization FSI acknowledges that our work spans across all of the traditional, ancestral, and unceded Indigenous territories in BC. Therefore, we respectfully honour all First Nations, Inuit and Métis people, as well as their ancestors, who have lived here and cared for these lands. It is with gratitude that we can live, learn and do our work in the province now known as British Columbia.
