Speaker:Donna Thomson – a caregiver, author, and educator with invaluable experience and insights to share. Donna is the mother of two grown children, one of whom has severe cerebral palsy and medical complexity. She has also been a caregiver for her mother, who lived with dementia until she passed away at the age of 96. Donna’s work, including her books The Unexpected Journey of Caring and The Four Walls of My Freedom, has touched many lives and she’s bringing her wisdom to our event.
This session will delve into practical steps caregivers can take to ensure they also care for themselves. It’s a must-attend for anyone navigating the challenges of caregiving.
