Presentation Topic:
In this day of misinformation, commercialization, and politicalization of information on autism, it has become all the more important for parents to become discerning consumers of ASD research and ASD announcements. This presentation will illustrate some of the current misleading information and strategies parents and organizations can use to separate good science from pseudoscience.

Glen Davies, PhD, RPsych
Director, ABLE Developmental Clinic Inc.
Dr. Davies is a registered psychologist licensed to practice in British Columbia since 1987. He is the Owner/Director of ABLE Developmental Clinic Inc., Co-Director of AIMS: Autism Integrated Medical Services at Pacific Autism Family Network, and Executive Director of the BC School and Applied Psychology Residency.
Dr. Davies maintains a busy clinical practice, supervises and trains the next generation of psychologists, and serves as a professional advisor to several organizations representing individuals with disabilities. His clinical work is primarily with children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, including assessment, intervention, and consultation.
