This will be an introduction to self advocacy, with AiMHi peer advisor / self-advocate, Penny Soderna-Sutton, talking about the following: – Developing your advocacy skills is the next step to becoming a more effective advocate – Advocacy means getting support from another person to help you express your views and wishes and help you stand up for your rights – Advocacy means taking action to create change to take steps to tackle on issue – Advocacy is an activity by an person or group that aim to move affect or sway decisions – Advocacy communicate interests desires needs and right of yours self or another person.
