The Disability Tax Credit is not just a simple tax credit but a gateway to many more benefits. Parents may find the application process confusing. Dave is here to help you through the process and interpret all the jargon.
This talk is intended for parents of children with autism who have not yet applied (or need to re-apply) for the Disability Tax Credit.
If you have a child with autism, I can guarantee that you are experiencing financial stress. Dave is here to help alleviate some of this stress.
Guest Speaker: David Taylor is the parent of a child with autism and has been running a home-based ABA program for 16 years. David has done extensive research into the financial side of managing an ABA team and has gathered information on all kinds of issues from his own experiences and from feedback from other parents.
If you think this may be applicable to you, please attend. Parents are often shocked by how much they will gain by applying for the Disability Tax Credit.
Dave will not be talking about how to file your taxes or what you may be able to claim. This will be presented in a subsequent talk “Autism and Taxes – Level Two” which we will host again next February.
Please do not bring your tax questions to this talk. We will only be discussing the application process.
Please note this presentation will be run as an online live webinar. It is open to everyone in British Columbia. This event will be recorded, but THE RECORDING WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE TO ATTENDEES.
