Usually, we do not have a meeting in December, but at our last meeting the group decided to have a Christmas Movie Party instead 🎥🍿
We will be watching Carol of the Bells from 1-3PM in the Nelson CARES boardroom on Thursday, December 15th, 2022
Carol of the Bells is about a young man with a troubled past who searches for his biological mother and finds out that she has down syndrome. It was made by Inclusion Films and 70% of the cast and crew who made the movie have an intellectual disability!
We will provide popcorn and hot chocolate, but please feel free to bring any baking or other holiday treats that you would like to share with everyone 🎅🍪
Masks, antlers, Santa hats, and ugly sweaters are optional but encouraged 😷
As with all our meetings, this event is free for anyone to attend, so spread the word and bring a friend!
