Join us for this online Chinese parents support meeting facilitated by Cindy, ASN’s Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking Parent Information Agent, who can share valuable insights on how to successfully implement and manage quality treatment programs and access the right support systems for your child diagnosed with Autism.

Chinese-speaking families from across BC are invited to this 1.5-hour Zoom meeting!
Gain a deeper understanding of common challenges faced by parents of children with autism and learn valuable strategies to manage them effectively.
Whether you’re new to this journey or have years of experience, all are welcome to join, learn, and connect!

HOST/主持:
Cindy是两个儿子的母亲,两个儿子分别在2岁和4岁时被诊断出患有自闭症。她4岁的儿子还被诊断出患有ARFID(回避性限制性食物摄入障碍),而两个孩子后来都被诊断出患有ADHD(注意力缺陷多动障碍)。自从他们被诊断以来,Cindy一直深度参与他们的治疗过程,包括ABA(应用行为分析)疗法,并深刻理解养育神经多样性孩子的喜悦与挑战。Cindy在幼儿教育和金融超过10年的经验,并且精通廣東話、國语和英语。这些多元化的背景使她作为家长资讯助理的角色更加丰富。她热衷于为家庭提供资源与指导。
Cindy is a proud mom of two amazing sons, both diagnosed with autism at ages 2 and 4. Her 4 years old was also diagnosed with ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), and both have since been diagnosed with ADHD. Since their diagnoses, she’s been deeply involved in their therapy journeys, including ABA, and understands the joys and challenges of raising neurodiverse children.
With over 10 years in early childhood education, a finance background, and fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, she brings a diverse perspective to her role as a Parent Information Agent. She’s passionate about providing families with culturally sensitive resources and guidance.
