These sessions, hosted by facilitator Patricia, offers a space for playing Minecraft with new friends.
Thanks to generous support from the Red Cross of Canada and Employment and Social Development Canada (the Government of Canada), we are offering online social groups in March to help foster connection during COVID-19.
These sessions, hosted by facilitator Patricia, will engage participants in their interests and offer a space for playing Minecraft with new friends.
Due to space restrictions, these events are limited to children and youth from British Columbia.
Sessions for all ages (5-19) are held on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m.
For these sessions Minecraft Bedrock is required, this is the standard version for the game. Please be sure that you have this version installed before you attend your sessions. This version allows players to be on various platforms within the same Realm.
How do you know if you have the correct version for this session? Checkout this guide to learn more about Minecraft Bedrock here. Please get a hold of us at if you have any questions, or if this is a barrier for you.
Please make sure to sign up to each date individually. If you are unable to attend the session, just let us know as soon as possible, so that we can allow access to a registrant of the waitlist.

As a provincial organization, Family Support Institute acknowledges that our work spans across all of the traditional, ancestral and unceded Indigenous territories in BC. Therefore, we respectfully honour all First Nations, Inuit and Métis people, as well as their ancestors, who have lived here and cared for these lands. It is with gratitude that we can live, learn and do our work in the province now known as British Columbia.
