Join us for an online support meeting facilitated by Deepika, The Autism Support Network’s Punjabi/Hindi-speaking Parent Educator, who can share valuable insights on how to successfully implement and manage quality treatment programs and access the right support systems for your child diagnosed with Autism.

Punjabi-speaking families from all across British Columbia are welcome to join this one-and-a-half-hour Zoom meeting to further their understanding and gain valuable information on the best ways to manage problems so commonly encountered as parents of children with autism.

About the Host
Deepika’s son was diagnosed with Autism at age 3 years. She runs a successful ABA program at home as well as school. She is passionate about educating and supporting parents with new diagnosis. She truly believes that parents are the best advocate for their children, so educating and supporting parents is pivotal.

ਦੀਪਿਕਾ ਦੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਨੂੰ ੩ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿਚ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਔਟਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਨਿਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਯਾ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਟੀਮ ਨਾਲ ABA ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ. ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਜੁਰਬੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰਖਦੇ ਹਨ. ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕਰ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਮਾਪੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ.
