Raising and supporting a child with extra support needs can be a challenge, particularly if you are a solo parent/guardian or even if you are co-parenting from separate households. You should never feel that you are alone. Family hangouts offer safe and confidential spaces for solo parents/guardians or co-parents to come together to discuss issues and possibilities, discovering and building strength from one another during these exceptional times.
Family Support Institute of BC (FSI) is a provincial not-for-profit society committed to supporting families who have a family member with a disability. FSI is unique in Canada and the only grass roots family to family organization that has a broad volunteer base.
FSI SUPPORTS AND SERVICES ARE FREE TO ANY FAMILY
