Meet Your Presenters:
Erin Green
Born profoundly Deaf, Erin grew up navigating the hearing world with textbooks and sports as her anchors. Learning ASL in college changed everything—it led to a career as a Teacher of the Deaf and a passionate advocate for early language access, inclusion, and prevention of language deprivation. Listening fatigue is more than a topic to her—it’s personal.
Wanda Blackett
Growing up Hard of Hearing, Wanda knows firsthand the struggle of listening fatigue and the isolation of dinner table syndrome. It wasn’t until college that she found belonging through ASL and the Deaf community. In this webinar, Wanda will share her identity, communication, and connection journey. Fun fact: she loves crocheting plushies and hanging out with her two mischievous fur babies.
