Hiring support staff and respite providers is not always as straightforward as it seems. This webinar will look at the difference between hiring employees and contractors when it comes to caregivers, support staff, and respite providers. Each position has specific rules and regulations to follow and we will dive into your responsibilities when hiring, as well as the obligations of employers and contractors when it comes to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), WorkSafe BC, and Employment Standards.
